Mid-sized rack cases (6U and 8U) can be used like the smaller (2U, 4U) desktop racks or the larger (10U, 12U) floor racks. When used as a desktop rack, mid-sized rackmount enclosures gives you space to grow. While the larger 10U and 12U racks may be too much for your needs, these 6U and 8U equipment racks are good compromise.
